What is lagree?

Lagree Fitness is the ultimate full-body workout created by Sebastien Lagree. Conducted on the custom designed Megaformer™, Lagree Fitness combines strength, core, cardio, circuit training and stretching into an intense exercise experience.

How Fit do I need to be?

Lagree is for ALL ages and level of fitness. From professional athletes to recovering couch potatoes - as long as you come with a positive attitude and ready to work hard - you’re going to rock it and get a killer workout.

HOW IS LAGREE JUST PILATES BY A DIFFERENT NAME?

Lagree is different from Pilates because the Lagree method and the Megaformer were specifically designed to add cardio and intensity to the strength, core, and stretching fundamental of the workout.



HOW DO I PURCHASE AND BOOK A CLASS?

Here on our website visit our PRICING page to select a package, and our SCHEDULE page to reserve a class time. Classes can also be purchased and booked through Mindbody, but the absolute best way to manage your account is via our Lagree MT app.

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT MY FIRST CLASS?

First and foremost… its going to be awesome. But also:

  • Arrive 15 minutes before class to familiarize yourself with the studio and your mandatory orientation.

  • Sticky Socks are required for class. Bring your own, or purchase in studio.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows your muscles to stretch and your skin to “breathe.”

  • Get ready to move slooowwwwly through each move, with fast transitions.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?

Yourself, a good attitude, and workout clothing - including sticky socks! We also strongly recommend water.


DO I really need sticky SOCKS?

Yes! Sticky socks are required for every client for every class. They help you safely get low and go slow AND keep things cleaner. Bring your own, or socks are available to purchase in studio.


HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE to class?

Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your class. If it’s your FIRST CLASS, please arrive 15 minutes early for a mandatory introduction to the Megaformer so we can truly help you put your best foot forward.


WHAT IF I’m running LATE?

Out of respect for other students and the teacher, students arriving more than 5 minutes after the scheduled start time will not be permitted to enter. A walk-in student may also take an open Megaformer at the 5 minute mark.


HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TAKE CLASS?

We recommend at least 3x per week if you’re hoping for those long, sculpted, toned muscles. Lagree MT workouts are designed to fatigue your muscles so that you receive the maximum results, but you MUST build in rest days to let your let your muscles rebuild and your body to recover. Listening to your body is the best indication as everyone is different!


Should I supplement Lagree with Cardio?

Lagree Fitness IS a cardiovascular workout! So, you do not need to engage in additional aerobic activities between workouts, unless this is something you like to do. No longer do you have to force yourself to do the extra mile - we'll push you during your workout and you will get cardiovascular and metabolic stimulation during your Lagree MT classes.

 
 

IF I’M PREGNANT can i lagree?

Though it’s not recommended to start a new workout mid pregnancy, we’re comfortable with you practicing as long as you and your physician are! We have countless modifications available to keep you and your baby safe - just make sure you let your instructor know. If have ANY concerns, we’d recommend a private lesson to best familiarize yourself with the important pregnancy modifications that your instructors will cue you on during group classes.
