carriage & platforms
The center of the Megaformer is a moveable platform, or carriage, that rolls back and forth, with a stationary platform at each end. Students stand, sit, kneel, etc. depending on the move, with the longer carriage allowing for both a push and pull effect for muscular training.
springs
The Megaformer uses springs for resistance, which allows students to individually customize their workout with different resistance levels.
handle bars & straps
Handle bars on the front and back of the machine can pivot and rotate for different grips during both pushing and pulling, while straps and pulleys aid in stabilization for different moves.
