Meet Janet

How long have you been coming to Lagree MT?

I attended my first Lagree MT class in September 2021.

What is your favorite Lagree move?

I love the Lagree leg series, especially the lunges, ALL the lunges, but my favorite Lagree move is the carriage push up. Holding the carriage for sixty seconds while doing slow, controlled push-ups is insanely difficult!

What's your Why? (Why do you workout and keep coming back for more?)

Strength and tenacity. From day one - when Dan totally kicked my ass - to today (almost 400 classes later), my goals and expectations of myself are to fight through the pain, stay in the move and transition quickly.  Leaving it all on the Megaformer when I walk out the studio door.

How has Lagree MT made a positive impact on your life?

Lagree has had a positive impact on my life in many ways. I feel more grounded and centered. I am more efficient when working out outside the studio. Lagree also helps me maintain the ability to participate in activities with my granddaughters (both under six), instead of being the grandmother who watches from the sidelines. 

Why do you choose Lagree MT over another workout?

Lagree is the most efficient and effective workout I have ever done! The instructors, class size, studio vibe (with its pristine cleanliness), and fellow Lagree members all make going to the "regular" gym incredibly difficult.

Fun Fact

I love the process of being creative and completing a project. Whether it’s reinventing a piece of furniture, transforming a room with paint and design, or creating something for family and friends, I completely lose track of time and the noise of the outside world just disappears.
