Meet Brett
How long have you been coming to Lagree MT?
I have been attending Lagree for nearly 2 years. I first started in the fall of ‘22. Time flys!
How has Lagree MT made a positive impact on your life?
Lagree has so many positives for me. But one of the first things I noticed was how if effected other parts of my life. Downhill skiing has always been my passion and a regular activity in the winter. I started doing Lagree for the first time in the fall. My first day on skis that winter (after only a few months of Lagree) was the best first day I have ever had. There was a lot of snow early season that year. I skied all day and was never sore or even tired. That had never happened, no matter what type of pre-season training I did. I was hooked!
What is your favorite Lagree move?
I love and hate all the moves. But some of my favorites are the basics, like and planks and squats. They are moves I have done hundreds of times in my life, but doing them slowly, with correct form and on the Megaformer is a game changer. They seem so simple but they can be so challenging when done correctly.
What's your Why? (Why do you workout and keep coming back for more?)
I have so many “why’s”, the amazing Lagree team being one of them. I also have started putting more importance on strengthening and maintaining muscle mass. I turned the corner on 40 this year, and I love the idea of aging realistically. I think strength training is a big part of that. Lagree makes me feel stronger than ever!
Why do you choose Lagree MT over another workout?
I love Lagree for multiple reasons. A beautiful space in a convent location, with an amazing staff. But I really love how quick and efficient the workouts are. Like everyone, I have a busy schedule with twin boys, a busy restaurant and full time adulting (overrated). But I can get a really killer workout in 45 minutes or so…and then get on with my day. I am torched after class but not sweaty enough to need to a hair wash, win win!
Fun Fact
