How did you find Lagree MT?
It was December 2, 2022 when I took my first Lagree class. I remember it like it was yesterday. I had been going to another gym in the area, but I wasn’t getting the results I was looking for. I knew Lagree was something different — not a workout you could easily duplicate at a traditional gym, in an online class, or somewhere else. That first class was a HUGE eye opener! Climbing onto the Megaformer, having the coaches encourage me, and getting into positions unlike anything I had done in other classes, I knew this was something totally different — and I could see why people were getting results. When class was over, I absolutely knew I had done something I had never done before.
What is your favorite Lagree move?
My favorite move is the Twisted Reverse Bear due to the upper body strength it takes to complete the plank move and the results you get with 6 pack abs/obliques is none like any other move to get those results.
What's your Why? (Why do you workout and keep coming back for more?)
My why is very simple: as a former RN, I truly believe that if you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything. I know how I feel when I finish a workout — the sense of success that comes from taking care of my body, knowing that my endorphins are increased and my mood is lifted. At the age of 62, and really at any age, it’s critical to prioritize your health. Plus, when you can see the results on your body scan — your muscle mass increasing and your body fat percentage decreasing — it’s confirmation that Lagree is the best overall workout for me.
How has Lagree MT made a positive impact on your life?
Lagree MT has had an impact on my life since the very first time I tried it. This spring, we had a 3-month challenge where the goal was to increase muscle mass, decrease body fat percentage, and measure our progress along the way. Much to my surprise, I won the MegaMuscle prize with a 4.27% increase in skeletal muscle mass and a 12.2% decrease in total body fat. It was such a shock, and also a reminder that at any age, you too can have huge success with Lagree and your health.
Why do you choose Lagree MT over another workout?
Lagree MT has proven to me that you can have big wins in your health, body composition, and overall well-being. That is why I will continue to be a part of Lagree.
You just won the Lagree MT 2026 90 Day Challenge - how did you tackle it? Any insights to your effective strategy?
Winning the 2026 90 Day Challenge was a huge milestone at this time in my life. I tackled those three months by being intentional with my workouts at Lagree, while also adding in weight lifting, Pilates, and cycling. I changed my diet by eliminating sugar and alcohol, adding high-protein supplements, listening to my body and resting when I needed it, and trusting the process knowing I was doing my best.
Fun Fact
I was born and raised in Butte, “America” and when I was 19 years old, I traveled with Up with People, singing and dancing in 11 countries. I’m a country girl who met my amazing pastor husband, David, in church, who blessed me with four adult children and three grandbabies. We got married on a mountain in the Bitterroot Valley during COVID.
